The Robo Show is the annual get-together of schools in the Control Technology Empowering Minds Project. It is hosted each year by St. Patrick’s College, Dublin.
The format of the Robo Show is that schools display their projects for visitors and for pupils, teachers and parents from other participating schools. Pupils have an opportunity to exchange ideas and to demonstrate their robots to others.
The essence of the Robo Show is that it is a collaborative event, where there is no competition and where pupils have the time and space to circulate and learn from the experiences of the other schools and to demonstrate or learn new skills.
This year’s Robo Show is on Tuesday May 20th and we are already working on our project which will involve trying to simulate some of the processes that we observed on a recent visit to the Glanbia Food Ingredients Factory, which is located in our parish.
