This is the school team, which won the St. Kieran\u2019s League in 1956. Martin Grace is third from the right in the back row. He scored 3 goals and 2 points that day. The boy on his right is Pat Delaney. Pat later won four All-Ireland medals with Kilkenny. This is the 100 feet fall that Martin did from the minaret in Rhodes. This is the highest fall he did. The film was called \u201cEscape to Athena\u201d. He described this stunt when he answered question 4.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

This is the church where Martin used to look up at the bell. He often thought about climbing up there. He wouldn\u2019t be able to daydream like that now because the bell is not there anymore. About 30 years ago the church was changed. The roof was lowered and the belfry was taken down. The bell is now over on the left. It wouldn\u2019t be that difficult to climb up to it now!<\/em><\/strong><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Martin: \u201cThe best falling horses are usually timid and not so strong. Mares are often better at falling. Three falls are a maximum each day. After that the horse gets bored.
\nThis horse was for falling. During the training period the horses learn how to lie down and relax. Notice the very soft sand. It makes them feel comfortable.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
